The cooperation between T Comm Telematics and SPEDION GmbH offers transport companies in the tank transport sector a fully integrated solution for complete insight into their trailer fleet.
By linking T Comm trailer telematics with the SPEDION app and SPEDIONline, drivers, planners, and administrative teams have real-time access to trailer data such as position, temperature, and weight.
SPEDION customer Wittener Transport-Kontor (WTK) has been using the combined solution since 2023. When transporting chemical goods at temperatures of up to 250 °C, sensors in the tank continuously monitor the temperature in the tank level at 30 % and 50 %. During unloading, the recipient can read the current temperature directly via a QR code on the trailer. The driver can monitor the information via the SPEDION app, while all data is automatically displayed in SPEDIONline. Users also receive immediate alerts via the T Comm platform in case of deviations, allowing quick intervention.
Act on Data, Drive Results
Tanktransporte Ahlerstedt also relies on the integrated solution. With real-time monitoring, the temperature of foodstuffs and hazardous goods is visible at all times during loading, unloading, and transport. In case of deviations, users receive an instant alert via the T Comm platform. The administration has a complete digital overview of all trip and transport data via SPEDIONline.
